“many people initially resisted Newton’s conclusions because they seemed to be “occult.” How could two distant objects in the solar system be drawn toward one another, acting according to a precise mathematical law? Indeed, Newton made strenuous efforts over his lifetime to find a natural explanation, but in the end, he could say only that it is the will of God.”

“How can physical atoms and molecules, for example, create something that exists in a separate domain that has no physical existence: human consciousness?

It is a mystery that lies beyond science”

The human conscience is given to us by God as a built in warning system. It was given to us after the Fall in the Garden of Eden. This is why we are able to tell good from evil. (Acts 24:16)

Our Earth was made specifically for human existence:

  • Perfect distance from the sun
  • Water for our use
  • Trees, plants, forest for our air
  • Food chain
  • The Earth has atmospheric pressure for liquid water at our surface.
  • The right balance of heavy elements and organic molecules   for life to appear.
  • The earth has the right amount of water so that we are provided with both oceans and continents.
  • Our solar system is strategically and perfectly placed. (do you think it would be perfectly placed from a big bang?)

John 3:36

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him

Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 6:37

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 17:3

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

John 17:16-17

16 They are not of the world, even as I am no of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 20:31

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast.

Question? When you receive a gift from someone, do you respond with how much do I owe you? The normal response is Thank you! So why would you feel obligated to do works to work your way to God? our Salvation and faith is also a gift therefore we should respond with gratitude and praise 🙂

We become Christians through God’s grace not by works. Being thankful for this gift, we will want to help and serve others with kindness, charity, and goodness, and not to solely please ourselves.
